Valasek Earns Second GPAC Attacker of the Week Honor
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) is proud to announce the following volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played October 21-27, 2024. Majesta Valasek received the GPAC Attacker of the Week, giving her the award for the second time this season.
Valasek accounted for 35 kills in six sets, good for 5.83 kills per set. In a win over Doane, she had 20 kills, including seven kills in the opening set, then had five kills in the first eight points of the second set to set the tone in their three-set win. Valasek also had 6 digs, 2 blocks and 1 assist in their two games.
Hastings will travel to Fremont, NE to play Midland on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30pm.
