Women's Wrestling Ranked 11th; 8 Broncos Earn Preseason NAIA Individual Rankings
(Kansas City, MO) – The NAIA recently announced the preseason women's wrestling team and individual rankings for each weight class. Hastings is ranked preseason #11 and had eight wrestlers make the individual lists.
Junior Larissa Kaz was picked to finish 8th in the 131 weight class and sophomore Raegen Gallaway was chosen to finish 4th in the 138 weight class.
In the 145 weight class, senior Tabitha Wood was picked to finish 16th and senior Savannah Turner was chosen to finish 20th. Junior Lisa Hoeflich was picked to finish tied for 11th in the 160 weight class.
Senior Marissa Patterson was picked to finish 7th in the 180 weight class. In the 207 weight class, junior Taylor Rickley was chosen to finish 14th and sophomore Amy Sistek was picked to finish 19th.
Hastings recently defeated Midland in their opening dual of the season and will wrestle next at Life Duals at 12pm on Friday, Nov. 8 in Marietta, GA.
