Men's Volleyball Comes Up Short in 2 Home Matches

(Hastings, NE) – In front of over 1,000 fans watching the first ever collegiate men’s volleyball match in Nebraska, the Hastings Broncos defeated Central Christian in three sets (25-10, 25-19, 25-17).

(Kansas City, MO) – Playing a couple of games on a road trip to Kansas City, Hastings defeated Avila 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-12), before coming up short in five sets to Saint Mary-Woods (21-25, 25-16, 28-26, 22-25, 19-17).
Men's Volleyball Earns 4-Set Win Against Viterbo

(Sioux Center, IA) – In their second day competing in Iowa, the Broncos took a two set to one lead over Viterbo, then after trailing 18-12 in the fourth, Hastings went on a 13-2 run to close it out (25-19, 18-25, 27-25, 25-20). In their first match of the day, Hastings took the opening set from Dordt, but lost in four sets (22-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-18).
Men's Volleyball Loses 2 Hard-Fought Matches in Sioux City

(Sioux City, IA) – The men’s volleyball team won the second set over Morningside, but the Mustangs prevailed in four sets (20-25, 25-20, 25-14, 25-18). Hastings went the distance in their next match against Arizona Christian, falling 3-2 (25-23, 24-26, 25-19, 17-25, 15-11).
Men's Volleyball Secures First Program Victory with Win over Central Christian

(Marshall, MO) – On day two at Marshall, Hastings lost their first match to host Missouri Valley 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 28-18), then picked their first win in program history in a 3-0 victory over Central Christian (25-15, 25-22, 25-12).

(Marshall, MO) – In the first matches of the Hastings College men’s volleyball program, the Broncos fell short against Morningside, 3-0 (28-26, 25-18, 25-21), then lost 3-0 to Ottawa University Arizona, 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-20).
Luke Announced as Head Coach of New Men's Volleyball Program

(Hastings, NE) – Hastings College Athletic Director Chris Clements announced today that Gareth Luke will stay at the college following two years as a women’s volleyball graduate assistant, as the head coach of the newly added men’s volleyball program. Hastings becomes the first Nebraska college to add the men’s volleyball program to their school.
