Vokins Collects First GPAC Offensive Player of the Week Award
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 7-13, 2024. Joe Vokins received the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week.
Vokins, a senior from Toronto, Canada, assisted on both game-winning goals in a pair of wins. In a 4-3 win at Mount Marty his assist came in the 86th minute to seal the win. In their 8-0 win against Waldorf, Vokins' assist put the Broncos on the board, then he scored a goal to open the second half. He finished the week with one goal, three assists, and two game-winning assists.
Hastings will host Midland on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 8pm at Lloyd Wilson Field.
