Women's Golf Places 11th at Bulldog Spring Invite
(Lincoln, NE) – The women's golf team wrapped up their second tournament for the spring season at the Bulldog Spring Invite held at Highlands Golf Course. The event took place Tuesday and Wednesday. They ended up placing 11th out of the 13 teams attending the event.
Sophomore Kya Shatzer led the team shooting a +19 with her best round being an 80. Sophomore Tyesha Tynes followed with +30 and her best round consisted of an 85.
Next was freshman Makayla Miller who shot +37 and sophomore Lindsey Warsnak with +47. Sophomore Lily Sporleder rounded out the team as an individual with +70.
The Broncos Head back to Lincoln, NE to compete at the Kaitlyn Erickson Doane Invite. The tournament takes place at Wilderness Ridge on April 14th.
