Women's Golf Makes Season Debut at Mount Marty
(Yankton, SD) – The Hastings College women's golf team wrapped up their first meet of the season at the Mount Marty Invite on Friday. As a team, they finished in 11th place in the 13-team event that began on Thursday.
Sophomore Kya Shatzer had the best performance for the Broncos, placing 19th, with an overall score of +24. Her best score was in round one, where she shot a 79.
Sophomore Tyesha Tynes had a good first round with an 82, ultimately finishing 47th.
Rounding out the lineup was freshman Makayla Miller placing 52nd and freshman Raleigh Lard placing 62nd.
Up next, the Broncos will travel to Omaha, NE to compete in the CSM Fall Invite on Monday, September 9th at the Tiburon Golf Course.
