Men's Golf Takes Fourth at LTU Spring Break Invitational
(Opelika, AL) – The men's golf team, ranked #24, wrapped up their first tournament of the spring season at the LTU Spring Break Invitational that lasted Wednesday through Friday. They tied for second place after the first two rounds, but ended up finishing fourth out of 13 teams.
Junior Ryker Dunkley led the team finishing +1 putting him in fourth overall. His best score was the first and second round where he shot a 72.
Junior Max Nielsen followed finishing 13th place with +9. He shot the lowest round out of the team with a 68 the second round.
Rounding out the team was junior Henry Kosmicki who placed 28th with +17. Freshman Blake Eddy shot +18 putting him in 32nd place. Senior Gabriel Escalera finished 35th place shooting +23.
The Broncos head to Camdenton, MO next to compete at the Verhill Invitational. The tournament takes place at Old KinderHook Golf Resort March 17th.
