Escalera Concludes Fall Season with GPAC Golfer of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) is proud to announce the following golf players-of-the-week for contests played October 14-20, 2024. Gabriel Escalera received the Men's Golfer of the Week after his record-breaking performance at Battle at the Dance.
Escalera won the event and tied the school record in round 1 and round 3 with a 5-under score. With seven total rounds of 5-under in school history, Escalera has five. His 54-hole score at 9-under broke his own school record by 2 strokes and broke the 54-hole tournament record at RainDance. Escalera has two of the lowest tournament rounds at 67.
With their fall season now at a close, Hastings will resume their 2024-25 season in spring.
