Women’s Soccer Collects GPAC Hardware, Draws with Doane

(Hastings, Nebraska) – The Women's Soccer team played the Doane Tigers on Saturday with a result of a 0-0 draw on a night in which the team was presented with the 2024 GPAC Regular Season Championship trophy.

In the first half, the Broncos accounted for six total shots, three of which were on goal. Seniors Grace Henry and Sara Pedroza each had two shots. Pedroza had both of her shots on goal while Henry had one of her shots on goal.

The other two shots were taken by juniors Jesse Chartier and Megan Lampe. Lampe also accounted for three corners while freshman goalie Tatiana Villasenor saved the only Doane shot.

In the second half, the Broncos accounted for seven total shots, three of which were on goal. The shots on goal were accounted for by Henry, Lampe and senior Dulce Lopez.

In addition, freshman Madison Rhodes had a shot blocked while junior Dekota Schubert had two shots, one header and another shot off the crossbar. Henry also had an additional shot as well.

Their next matchup is home against College of St. Mary 5:30pm at Lloyd Wilson Field on Wednesday, October 30th.
