Escalera Will Lead Golf Program, Good to Transition to Assistant

(Hastings, NE) – Hastings College Athletic Director Chris Clements announced today that Gabriel Escalera has been named as the head men’s and women’s golf coach for the Hastings Broncos. Good will remain as an assistant coach for the remainder of the 2025-26 season during the transition.

KANSAS CITY, MO - The Seahawks rise to No. 1 in the first regular season NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Rating. Nearly everyone was on the move for the first regular-season release, besides British Columbia and Victoria (B.C.), who held steady at their respective ranks of 11 and 24. No. 2 Reinhardt (Ga.) leaped 18 spots from their preseason rank, while No. 3 Coastal Georgia rose 13 spots. The Hastings Broncos finished the fall season ranked 25th with 93 points.

(Windsor, CO) – The men’s team traveled to RainDance National Golf Course to compete at Battle of the Dance on Monday and Tuesday for their last fall tournament of the season. The Broncos placed third out of ten teams.

(Norman, OK) – Keiser climbs to the No. 1 spot in the Bushnell/Golfweek NAIA Coaches Poll after their 24-stroke victory at the Invite at Innisbrook on September 30. The Seahawks received seven first-place votes and 223 points on October 10. Hastings came in at #24 in the poll.

(Fremont, NE) – The Broncos traveled to Fremont Golf Course to compete at the Nebraska Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday. Hastings took fifth out of the eight teams that attended with a total team score of +36.

(Norman, OK) – After winning eight tournaments and capturing the program’s first national championship a season ago, Lindsey Wilson is No. 1 in the Preseason 2025-26 Bushnell/Golfweek NAIA Coaches Poll. The Blue Raiders received eight first-place votes and 246 points on August 29. Hastings College came in at #25 with 29 votes.

(Oklahoma City, OK) – The men’s golf team traveled to Lincoln Park Golf Course to compete at the UC Ferguson Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, the 25th and 26th. The Broncos placed fourth overall out of 12 with a combined score of 16 under. Originally scheduled to play three rounds, weather allowed for just two total rounds.

(KANSAS CITY, MO) - Defending national champion Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is the No. 1 team in the preseason edition of the 2025-26 NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25, beginning a nine-month season that will culminate in mid-May, at TPC Deere Run, in the 2026 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship. The Broncos were the first team outside of the top 25, finishing with 69 points, 13 points behind 25th-place Northwestern Ohio.
