Senior Dekota Schubert scored the second goal one minute later off of a free kick pass from Megan Lampe. Schubert crossed the middle of the field as the pass drifted into the penalty box and knocked the ball down right in front of the Briar Cliff goalkeeper, gained control, and then fired a shot to the left side of the net to make it 2-0.
