Bronco Athletics Celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day
(Hastings, NE) – The Hastings College Athletic Department is proud to recognize Feb. 4th as National Girls and Women in Sports Day, which occurs every year on the first Wednesday of February.
Softball Picked to Finish 7th in Preseason GPAC Poll
(Sioux City, Iowa) – Midland University totaled 114 votes and are the preseason coaches' selection to win the 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Softball Championship. The Warriors tallied six first place votes. Midland advanced to the 2025 NAIA Softball World Series in Columbus, Georgia, and closed the season with a 40-18 record.
Women's Wrestling Earns Narrow Win over Midland; 2 Broncos Collect Runner-Up at Midland Open
(Fremont, NE) – The #16 Hastings Broncos picked up a win at Midland, who received votes in the most recent NAIA poll, winning 23-22 on Friday night. They then wrestled at the Midland Warrior Open on Saturday.
Cheer Takes Third at Doane
(Crete, NE) – The Hastings competitive cheer team took the floor on Saturday at Doane. They finished third in the triangular against Doane and Peru State with a 71.42 score.
Dance Begins Season at Doane Invite
(Crete, NE) – The Hastings competitive dance team took the floor on Saturday at Doane, taking fourth out of five teams with a score of 72.79
Dakota Wesleyan Defeats Broncos, 83-70
