Bio

David Loomis enters his second year as the Assistant Sports Information Director and a volunteer tennis coach, returning to his alma mater three years after graduating.

Loomis serves as the webmaster for the Broncos, writing recaps and press releases, as well as updating schedules, rosters, and statistics. He oversees workers on game days and maintains the athletic record books to enhance the student-athlete experience.

Prior to returning to Hastings, Loomis spent two years in management at Enterprise Holdings, working in Nebraska and South Dakota. He made his way back into college athletics at Tabor College in 2023.

During his time at Tabor, Loomis worked as the Sports Information Director where he was responsible for all KCAC and NAIA statistical requirements and served as the webmaster for Tabor Athletics. He oversaw and managed workers for all game day duties, including video and audio streaming, and he was responsible for coach interviews, game recaps, and highlighting all awards for individual and team performances.

Loomis is a 2021 Hastings College graduate who served as co-captain from 2019-2021 for the men's tennis program and was a member of the final year of the five consecutive GPAC Championships in 2018. While competing as a student-athlete, he was also a member of the HC media broadcast team.
