Escalera Earns Co-Golfer of the Week; 3rd This Year

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for October 2-8, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week

Men – Drew D'Ercole, Concordia University and Gabe Escalera, Hastings College
Drew D'Ercole of Concordia University and Gabe Escalera of Hastings College are the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Co-Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. D'Ercole, a senior from Papillion, Nebraska, and Escalera a junior from Sahaurita, Arizona, tied for fourth place at the Nebraska Intercollegiate. D'Ercole carded a two-round total of 74-74 (148) (+4) and shared fourth place with Escalera 76-72 (148), as the top GPAC finishers in the field.
