Women's Cross Country Places 5th at Briar Cliff Invite
(Sioux City, IA) – The women's cross country team finished 5th at the Briar Cliff Open in Sioux City, IA on Saturday morning.
Senior Cynthia Chaparro-Belloc led the way for the Broncos, finishing 13th with a time of 24:49.9 in the 6K race.
Senior Shania Santos was second among the Broncos, finishing 17th with a time of 24:40.2. Sophomore Grace Dow finished 23rd with a time of 24:56.9. Senior Jilee Golus finished fourth among the Broncos at 44 with a time of 28:08.4.
Junior Mikayla Seebohm finished 46th with a time of 26:27.7 and junior Ava Brackhan placed 47th with a time of 26:21.9. Sophomore Whitney Cure also placed 50th with a time of 26:29.4.
Up next, Hastings will race at the Blazing Tiger Invite in Ashland, NE on Saturday, October 26th at 9am.
