Women's Cross Country Finishes 7th at GPAC
(Ashland, NE) – The women's cross country team finished 7th at the GPAC Championships in Ashland, NE on Saturday morning.
Sophomore Grace Dow led the way for the Broncos, finishing 25th with a time of 25:07.94. Senior Cynthia Chaparro-Belloc was second for the Broncos, finishing 29th with a time of 25:21.99 in the 6000m race.
Senior Shania Santos finished 49th with a time of 26:17.92. Junior Ava Brackhan placed 51st with a time of 26:27.58 and senior Jilee Golus finished fifth among the Broncos at 54 with a time of 27:04.15.
Sophomore Whitney Cure placed 55th with a time of 27:33.60 and junior Mikayla Seebohm finished 56th with a time of 27:49.47.
The Cross Country season has come to a close for the Broncos, but the runners will be back in action for the start of the indoor track season.
