
Men's Bowling Places 2nd To Begin Season
Omaha, NE – The Hastings College men's bowling team opened the 2023-24 campaign by finishing second at the Warrior Open this past weekend.
The Broncos finished with a total pin count of 8385 while Midland won the event with a total pin count of 8605. The Hastings JV won its side of things with a total pin count of 8060.
Kenneth Lance-High led the way by finishing fourth with an average of 223.6. He saved his best for last firing off a 269 in game five while clearing 200 in four of his five games.
Anthony Morella was right behind him in fifth with an average of 214.6. He also cleared 200 four times with his best game coming in game three with a 253.
Anthony Hernandez finished seventh with an average of 213 and his best game was game three with a 234. He also cleared 200 four times.
Will Wallace placed 14th with an average of 197.4 as his best game was game two with a 210.
Both Lance-High and Morella were named to the all-tournament team by finishing in the top 5.
Over the next few weeks, Hastings will focus its attention on the MidStates Open on Oct. 21-22 down in Wichita, KS.
