Men's Bowling Takes 11th at MidStates Open
(Wichita, KS) – The men's bowling team traveled to Wichita, KS on Saturday and Sunday to compete at the MidStates Open. As a team, they finished just outside the top 10, taking 11th out of 32 teams.
Sophomore Kaden Kuusela led the way by placing 32nd, with an average of 197.8 and a total of 1187 pins in the six rounds. Kuusela finished very strong, bowling a 235 in the sixth and final game. For the event, Kuusela had three games of over 200.
Fellow sophomore Trevor Seeley also finished in the top 75, taking 68th. Seeley bowled in only five of the six games so his pin total of 1095 was not as high as how well he performed, as his average of 219 was sixth best overall of the top 75 individual bowlers.
Up next, Hastings will compete at their home event, the Bronco Open, on November 2-3.
