Pinkerton Earns First Career NAIA Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
ANSAS CITY, Mo. — Veronica Pinkerton of Hastings (Neb.)has been named NAIA Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, and Arriana Benjamin of Marian (Ind.) has been selected as the NAIA Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 22-28 and were selected out of a pool of nominees from across the country.
Players of the week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Veronica Pinkerton, Hastings (Neb.) - SR
- Competed at the Charlie Foster Classic
- Finished 3rd of 15 athletes in the 800m with a time of 2:14
- Helped her 4x400 relay team as the anchor to a 1st place finish of 12 teams with a final time of 3:45
- Currently she is ranked No. 1 in the NAIA in the 800m run.
