
Women's Golf Finishes 9th; Records Best Single Round as a Team Since 2010
Sioux Center, IA – The Hastings College women's golf team finished ninth at the Siouxland Invitational this past week with a team total of 698. Morningside won the event with a team score of 633.
Kya Shatzer led the way for the Lady Broncos with a two day total of 166 which was good enough for a tie for 17th. Her best round was round two with a seven over 79.
Tyesha Tynes finished tied for 34th with a two day total of 173. Her best round was also round two with an 85.
Kiara Vodehnal finished tied for 42nd with a tow day total of 179. Her best round was also round two with an 89.
Lindsey Warsnak rounded out the scoring with a two round total of 180 with her best round coming in round two with an 80.
As it stands, the day two total of 333 is the best score in recent history at least dating back to 2010.
Hastings will be back in action Oct. 18-19 taking part in the Friends University Invite with tee off set for 10:00 am in Wichita, KS.
