Track and Cross Country Announce Coaching Role Changes

(Hastings, Nebraska) The Cross Country and Track and Field teams announced a couple of coaching role changes for the upcoming season. Ryan Mahoney will transition to Director of Cross Country and Track and Field, while Zac Osgood has been promoted to Head Track and Field Coach.

Marion, IN – The Hastings College women’s track and field team picked a great time to pick up many personal best performances on their way to a 7th place finish at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past week. Hastings finished tied with Olivet Nazarene in 7th with 27 total points and was the highest finishing team out of the Great Plains Athletic Conference.

Orange City, IA – The Hastings College women’s track and field team competed at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships on Friday and Saturday as the Broncos went on to place fourth with 77.5 team points. Each Bronco that finished in the top eight earned All-Conference honors.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Emma Johnson of Columbia International (S.C.) has been selected NAIA Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week and Kiara Anderson from Hastings (Neb.) has been selected as the NAIA Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from April 15-21 and were selected out of a pool of nominees from across the country.
