2023 - Earned GPAC Field Athlete of the week for her performance on Jan. 7. She would also go on to earn NAIA National Field Athlete of the Week.
Anderson from Hastings College is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Anderson, a senior from Mesa, Arizona, won the women's weight throw Saturday at Doane's Ward Haylett Invite with an "A" standard throw of 16.95m (55' 7.5"). Anderson currently leads the NAIA in the weight. She also had a third-place finish in the women's shot put.

Kiara Anderson from Hastings College is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Anderson, a senior from Mesa, Arizona, won both of her field events on Saturday at the Scott Nisely Memorial Classic. She won the Shot Put with an 'A' standard throw of 13.90m and backed that up by winning the weight throw with an 'A' standard throw of 17.98m. She currently is No. 1 in the GPAC and the NAIA in the weight throw.

Kiara Anderson from Hastings College is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Anderson, a senior, from Mesa, Arizona, competed in the shot and weight Friday at the Charlie Foster Classic hosted by the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She was the top NAIA finisher and fourth place overall in the shot put (12.84m). She went on to finish second in the weight throw (again the top NAIA finisher) with an "A" standard national qualifying throw of 17.34m. Anderson is the NAIA leader in the women's weight throw.

Anderson, a senior, from Mesa, Arizona, finished second in the women's weight (she was the top NAIA finisher) with an "A" standard throw of 17.82m (58' 5.75"). Currently she is ranked first in the GPAC and in the NAIA in the weight throw. She bested the second-ranked NAIA women's weight thrower head-to-head by over one meter.
