Shotgun Sports Places 5th at Warrior Invite
(Lincoln, NE) - The Hastings shotgun sports team placed fifth as a team out of 16 teams at the Warrior Invite in the two-day event in Lincoln, NE.
Senior Tanner Dager finished third overall to lead the Broncos. His score of 285 was completed by finishing 3rd in sporting, 12th in skeet, and 35th in trap. Junior Hunter Gilbertson wasn't far behind, placing seventh with a score of 280 after finishing 6th in sporting, 13th in trap, and 85th in skeet.
Junior Hayden Thomason took 75th with a score of 260, junior Austin Hofts took 96th with a score of 256, and sophomore Tucker Carpenter took 98th with a score of 255.
Also competing for the Broncos was senior Rennick Turner (107th, score of 253), sophomore Hannah Sears (111th, score of 252), sophomore Chase Wieczorek (116th, score of 250), senior Kyle Frederick (127th, score of 247), and sophomore Katrice Lyons (142nd, score of 244).
Hastings will compete next at the Prairie Circuit Classic Conference Shoot in North Platte, NE on Saturday, September 28 and 29.
