Men's Cross Country Takes 3rd at Briar Cliff Invite
(Sioux City, IA) – The men's cross country team finished 3rd at the Briar Cliff Open in Sioux City, IA on Saturday morning.
Senior Tatum Jelleberg led the way for the Broncos, finishing sixth overall with a time of 26:33.6 in the 8K race.
The second Bronco to cross the finish line was junior Deshawn Burks at 13 with a time of 27:15.7. Freshman Evan Struss finished close behind Struss, placing 18th with a time of 27:28.7.
Junior Tyler Salter was fourth among the Broncos, finishing 59th with a time of 30:03.3. Junior Luke Lewandowski was the fifth Bronco to cross the finish line, placing 69th with a time of 31:05.7. Junior Sam Wise concluded the Hastings' competitors, placing 77th with a time of 32:29.8.
Up next, Hastings will race at the Blazing Tiger Invite in Ashland, NE on Saturday, October 26th at 9am.
