Dance Opens Season at Doane
(Crete, NE) – The Hastings competitive dance team took the floor on Thursday night at Doane, losing 79.15-62.65.
Hastings scored 6.3 out of 30 in the pom technique from both judges, as well as 6.9 out of 10 in the team turn sequence. In the jazz technique, judge one gave Hastings a 6.2 score, while judge two gave them a 6.3 score out of 10.
In the hip hop technique, judge one gave Hastings a score of 6.1 and judge two scored it as 6. With all of the scores added up to equal an average total of 63.65 and a one-point deduction, Hastings had a final score of 62.65.
Up next, Hastings will compete at the CUNE Day of Duals at 10am on February 8 in Seward, NE.
