Cheer Finishes Seventh at GPAC Championships

(Seward, NE) – The competitive cheer team competed at the GPAC Championships on Saturday, taking seventh out of eight teams hosted by Concordia University.

Cheer Takes Second in Home Triangular

(Hastings, NE) – The Hastings competitive cheer team took the floor on Wednesday in Kiewit Gymnasium. They finished second in the triangular against Doane and Peru State with a 75.85 score.

Cheer Competes at Nfinity ACC Challenge

(Orlando, FL) – The Hastings competitive cheer team took the floor on Saturday and Sunday at the Nfinity ACC Challenge in Orlando. They finished third in the tridual against Siena Heights and Concordia University of Ann Arbor with a 66.78 score on Saturday. On Sunday, they dualed Siena Heights again, falling short, 82.49-74.14.

Cheer Narrowly Loses to Doane

(Crete, NE) – The Hastings competitive cheer team took the floor on Thursday night at Doane, narrowly missing falling, 72.60-71.05.

Cheer Voted 4th in GPAC Preseason Poll

Lloyd Earns First Career All-American Honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The 2024 NAIA Competitive Cheer All-Americans have been announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) after the conclusion of the 8th Annual Nfinity NAIA National Championship. Carlos Fetterer of St. Ambrose (Iowa), Trey Galvan of Saint Mary (Kan.), Martavious Owten of St. Ambrose (Iowa), and Dylan Sonnier of Xavier (La.) all posted perfect scores of 20 to earn Co-Cheerleader of the Year honors.
