Albert and Arce-Salinas Win GPAC Player of the Week Awards

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced that Lewis Albert was named Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Pablo Arce-Salinas was named the Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for November 4-10, 2024.

Albert, a senior from Walfield, England, scored two goals during their two wins in the GPAC Tournament on the road. He scored both of his goals in the 2-0 win over Midland on just three shot attempts, scoring in the 60 and 68 minutes of the match to give Hastings the quarterfinal win at Midland.

Arce-Salinas, a senior from Victoria City, Mexico, recorded two clean sheets in the two GPAC wins on the road, including at top-seed Morningside. He saved eight shots total, while playing all 90 minutes in each.

The Broncos will play in the GPAC Championship at Concordia at 7pm on Wednesday, November 13th for a chance at an automatic bid to go to the NAIA National Championship.
